Our expertise in infrastructure includes aviation, highways and bridges, planning and advisory services, ports, rail and transit, tunnels, and water.
As a Brand Technical Specialist, you will work with a sales team as a consultative specialist advising prospective clients on the benefits of Hatch's calibrated water & wastewater modelling solutions.
You will be directly impacting Quebec municipal governments on the adoption of next-generation platforms: notably water and wastewater treatment facilities.
The team you will work with identifies, advises and supports the relationships between the business sector, its clients and Hatch's Technologies practice.
In particular the primary elements of the role include:MANAGEMENT OF A STRATEGIC PROGRAM
- Defining and detailing feasible Hatch solutions that complement and enhance clients' existing asset management solutions.
- Delivering proof of concepts and simplifying difficult, technical topics into understandable client education.
RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT
- Build strong relationships with internal and external players and ensure appropriate relationships are in place with senior leadership.
- Coordinate escalation of issues (contractual or operational) with clients, ensuring appropriate management at the client and at the vendor are involved as appropriate.
- Help clients navigate the water and wastewater modelling and simulation software.
- Assist with the development of partnerships (old and new) to provide opportunities for growth at Hatch.
- Develop best practices to foster, manage, and track opportunities.
STRATEGY AND INSIGHT DEVELOPMENT
- Assist the business sector's regional management team in organizing and identifying internal and external opportunities for the Firm.
- Build presentations that summarize Hatch's position on a given technology, opportunity or desired business outcome.
- Analyze market, industry, and technology trends and provide recommendations to managers based on findings.
- Provide thoughtful technical analysis with a focus on gaining context to enable informed decisionmaking
- Awareness and knowledge of Digital Assets.
- Confidence to engage new customers and deliver an elevated experience.
- Motivation to achieve sales, business objectives and high client satisfaction.
- Aptitude to utilize selling technologies to network, engage clients, and identify new business opportunities.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Experience translating business requirements into technology solutions.
- Professional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated team collaboration and leadership.
- Readiness to independently travel to local Hatch clients and meetings up to 10%.
- Technical Qualification in water management, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering.
- Programming coursework or experience a plus.
- Prior work experience in a technical role is an asset.
- At least 3 months experience with Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering concepts.
- Experience includes all settings, such as coursework, informal or side projects, internships and work experience, leading to a result or achievement.
- Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects with mínimal supervision. Can manage a complex ever changing priority list and resolve conflicts to competing priorities
- Strong presentation/PowerPoint and storytelling skills
- Particular focus placed on the ability to condense large amounts of technical information into concise action oriented digests
