We are an ISO13485 certified Medical Products Manufacturer looking to hire a permanent full time Shipper/Receiver and Manufacturing Technician. We are the industry leader in the manufacture of Colon Hydrotherapy Equipment and Supplies.

This job requires the ability to multitask and manage your time. A strong technical and mechanical aptitude is key, as is an attention to detail.


Duties:

• Prepare, Pack and Ship orders worldwide in a timely and efficient manner, error free
• Receive incoming shipments; ensure accuracy and free of damage
• Communicate, negotiate with freight forwarders for cost efficient rates
• Handle diverse international customs requirements with an attention to detail
• Use a variety of shipping software, CRM/database systems and MS Office Software
• Organize and maintain warehouse cleanliness
• Assist with manufacturing as needed according to Quality Operational Procedures and Work Instructions
• Ensure that all work is done with quality and integrity following procedure to the letter to ensure a consistently high quality product is produced
• Work closely and as a team player, setting a positive example for ensuring efficient and effective company operations

Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Graduation or GED
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (Absolutely vital)
• Strong command of the English language (Absolutely vital)
• Selfmotivated and team oriented (Absolutely vital)
• Prior experience in shipping environment (is an asset)
• Strong understanding of International shipping and Customs (is an asset)
• Basic computer literacy (Absolutely vital)
• Prior experience with shipping software, database systems and MS Office Software (is an asset)
• Strong mechanical aptitude (is an asset)
• Excellent time management and organizational skills (Absolutely vital)
• Prior experience in an ISO13485 (or ISO9001) manufacturing environment (is an asset)
• Forklift ticket (is an asset)
• Familiarity with basic power tools (is an asset)
• Capacity to carry weights of +/60 pounds (Absolutely vital)
• Hard working and detail oriented (Absolutely vital)
• An interest in Health and Integrative Medicine (is an asset)

Salary:
$19.00-$20.00 per hour
