Working Days & Hours:
Monday - Friday (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 10:00 AM - 06:30 PM)

Location:
Richmond, BC

Position Overview:

Working independently with guidance from Warehouse Manager, responsibilities are to supervise, delegate and assign all warehouse related activities.

Main Responsibilities:

Supervise staff in accordance with Company policies and procedures. This includes assigning tasks utilizing resources and abilities of the workforce to maintain a continual workflow, setting priorities, coaching and training as required
Ensure compliance with the Collective Agreement
Assist in daily manpower planning
Assist in other Warehouse related matters and other areas as determined

Required skills & abilities:

Postsecondary education in Operations Management
Pervious experience as a warehouse supervisor or a similar management position; preferable experience in a unionized environment
Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and warehouse management
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency/experience of MS Office tools and Warehouse Management Systems
