Krem food services produces and supplies various types of sauce products for food service businesses like the restaurant industry, hotels and retail shops, including the manufacture of sauces for Barcelos Canada Franchise, of which there are currently 16 locations throughout BC and Alberta, with plans to open new locations in the coming years including 2 locations in Ontario scheduled for opening in late 2023,

Krem plans to expand the business further by adding new product lines into its portfolio.

We require one full time, permanent
food production manager
Salary range $ $44.50 p/h.

Must speak English.

The successful applicant will be required to

• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate our sauce manufacturing facility
• Develop and implement plans to efficiently use materials, labour and equipment to meet production targets
• Plan and manage the establishment of departmental budget
• Develop production schedules and maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products
• Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems and methods of work
• Effectively manage supply chain by ensuring on time delivery to clients
• Direct quality control inspection system and develop production reporting procedures
• Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines
• Hire, supervise and train or oversee training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques.

Applicants should have

• Completion of a college or university program in engineering or business administration, and

- a minimum of five years of supervisory experience


Salary:
$43.27-$44.50 per hour


Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
