Agronomist M/F - Canada - Co-op
Description
Deliver professional, current and sound agronomic advice and recommendations to producers in the area with a wide variety of crops and soils, including crop protection/crop nutrition information, field scouting and recommendations, soil testing services;Administer and carry out an extensive on farm contact program developing customer and supplier relationship;
Market and distribute crop supply products and farm equipment to new and existing customers;
Work with the crop input manager to maintain inventory levels, ordering and data reporting through in house programming;
Adhere to all merchandising standards, marketing efforts including pricing, policy and procedure, equipment maintenance, house-keeping and loss prevention policies.
Be familiar with and adhere to Meadow Lake Co-op policies and procedures;Through the work that we do, we help to build, fuel, feed ad grow Western Canadian communities together.
Who you are:
You are passionate about a career in Agriculture and:
You have a degree or diploma in agriculture;
You have 0-3 or more years of agronomy and/or relevant experience;
You have a valid class 5 driver's license;
Strong Agricultural background in sales, account management and agronomy;
You have crop planning and scouting agronomy experience
