We are working with a client in the Food Manufacturing Industry who is looking to hire a Production Manager.
Our client, a leading cheese manufacturer based in
GTA, Ontario, is on the hunt for a dedicated and experienced
Production Manager to lead their factory floor operations.
This pivotal role demands a hands-on approach to overseeing the entire production process, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
As the
Production Manager, you will be the driving force behind scheduling, process improvements, and the daily management of approximately 40 employees, comprising 15 permanent full-time staff and a contingent of temporary workers.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supervising production activities, implementing strategies to optimize workflow, and maintaining high standards of cheese production.
You will play a critical role in training and guiding employees, making necessary adjustments to the production line, and ensuring that product quality exceeds expectations.
Requirements:
- Proven management experience in the cheese or related food production industry.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize efficiency in production scheduling and process improvements.
- Strong leadership skills with experience supervising a sizable team.
- In-depth understanding of the cheese production process and the ability to implement effective changes.
- Capability to train and lead employees, ensuring adherence to production guidelines and standards.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to manage operations handson.
