Work Location:

This role is eligible for hybrid work - this means you'll have the flexibility of working from home and in the office (in Regina), on a scheduled rotation once training requirements have been met.

Until then, the successful incumbent will be expected to work on-site, full-time.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Delivers foundational infrastructure blocks for corporate use.
  • Installs and configures software and hardware components.
  • Creates and maintains support conditions and runbooks.
  • Ensures the health and performance of provisioned building blocks.
  • Runs error detection and resiliency tests.
  • Supports the operations manager with incidents and changes.
  • Manages monitoring tools and solutions for workload(s).
  • Performs daytoday operations for workload(s).
  • Controls access permissions and privileges.
  • Responsible for system backups and disaster recovery tasks.
  • Writes and maintains automation scripts for system maintenance and administration.
  • Creates and updates operational documentation and runbooks.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS- Knowledge of Windows and Linux Server and Desktop Operating Systems.- Proficient knowledge of IT best practices, methodologies, and techniques related to system administration.- Knowledge of Cloud computing (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and associated technologies.- Proficient knowledge of information technology, including operating systems, subsystem components, software, and hardware. Knowledge of IT life cycle management processes.- Knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) practices.- Knowledge of DevOps practices (e.g., Infrastructure-as-Code, automation).


EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS- Four-year degree from an accredited post-secondary education institution in a relevant field of study, such as Information Technology, Mathematics & Applied Science, or defined equivalency.

EXPERIENCE years' experience in systems administration.
