Job Description:
Canadian Helicopters has an opening for an Operations Assistant at the Edmonton office. This position reports to the Director of Operations Western Division.
This includes but not limited to:
- Work in collaboration with the Director of Operation for the scheduling / Planning of Pilots
- Schedule and book all the traveling for the Operation Team, including booking flights, hotel, rental cars etc
- Working in collaboration with the payroll department, to ensure that the timesheets are all accurate and approve on a timely basis.
- Responsible for all data entries related to the timesheets, Crew Support (our Intranet), training, travel, and all other support program Operations is working with.
- Process expense report, reconciliation of expenses.
- Provide the documents for the hiring process, work in collaboration with the HR team.
- Liaison with the Safety department
- Great communication with the Director of Operation
- Develop a strong partnership with all the operation team.
- Excellent problem solving
- Ability to multitask and manage competing commitments simultaneously.
- Any other Assistant duties (order stationary, mail etc)
Qualifications:
- College degree in Administration or equivalent in an operation environment
- 2 years of experience
- Attention to details.
- Organizational skills
- Bilingual (English / French) is an asset
