We are currently seeking a full time certified Fire Alarm Technician. As one of our Fire Alarm Representatives you will be required to help perform duties such as maintenance, inspections and repairs on Fire Alarm panels, fire extinguishers, emergency and exit lighting and other jobs as required.Please copy and paste the link below into your search bar to see a video showing a glimpse of what the Okanagan Valley has to offer.Responsabilités- Identify problems, evaluate and diagnosing equipment requiring service. Performing installations, inspections, testing, verification, repair and maintenance work on fire alarm systems, fire extinguishers, emergency lights as well as miscellaneous service work as required. Annual inspections, verifications, service calls, troubleshooting, repairs & installations.Qualifications
  • Ability to obtain security clearance.
  • Possess a clean, well-groomed presentation to customers.
  • Candidate must be CFAA or ASTTBC registered.
  • Have at least 3 years experience in the fire/life safety industry.
  • Must posses a strong command of the English language, both oral and written.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with proven ability to identify and repair opens, grounds & shorts.
  • Capable of preparing thorough reports and inspection documentation.
  • Prepared to handle after hour and weekend service calls on a rotational basis.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with a clean drivers abstract.
  • Factory training on fire systems would be an asset.
  • Self-motivated individual who can take on a leadership role and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professionally represent our company while possessing a polite and respectful demeanor with both customers and fellow co-workers.
