The Human Resources Department serves as a key partner in executing the organization's business plan and is responsible for strategy regarding human capital, our most valuable asset at Ivanhoé Cambridge.

The entire HR team is dedicated to working together with internal and external stakeholders to implement the strategic plan and align with emerging human resources trends.

We are seeking a versatile, high-performance individual to assist with exciting projects in talent management.

In this new role, you will serve as a resource person and support the advancement of multiple strategic projects championed by your team (e.g., leadership development program, real estate courses, mentoring and career pathway initiatives).

An important part of this role will involve coordinating training and development programs on an organization-wide basis. You will be called on to integrate performance indicators into our talent management dashboard and help analyze the results.

You will also strive to ensure our efforts meet or exceed our quality standards and thus contribute to the success of our organization by continuously monitoring and analyzing talent management and development.

How will you spend your day?

  • Create and coordinate training and development offerings for our employees in Canada and abroad; manage training activities on the Workday platform;
  • Process development requests and carry out preliminary research to identify the appropriate training solutions and/or providers;
  • Prepare documents, surveys and reports in order to generate statistics, track performance indicators and make recommendations as needed;
  • Proactively manage the development of processes and systems in order to boost efficiency and effectiveness in activity coordination;
  • Contribute in the development of tools, coordination of activities in the context of the realization of projects in talent management
  • Sit on various working committees;
  • Work with the team on a variety of projects.
The toolbox we are looking for

  • Undergraduate degree in human resources, administration or a related field; CPHR/CHRP designation, an asset;
  • One to three years of relevant experience;
  • Highly organized; comfortable working with multiple people at once and managing simultaneous priorities;
  • Detailoriented with a clientfocused approach and consistent followup;
  • Proven leadership abilities in identifying and implementing improvements to processes and systems;
  • Analytical mindset and a genuine interest in data management and the various technologies used in this sector;
  • Collaborative team player; selfdirected, with a keen sense of initiative;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365; Familiarity with an HRIS (Workday preferred);
  • Fluency in written and spoken French and English; ability to correspond and interact with employees in international markets on matters related to the specific role you play on the team.
