Elixxer Ltd. operates as a cannabis investment firm in Canada and Italy.

It invests in cultivation, production, and sale of medical cannabis and cannabis-derived products in the pharmaceutical and consumer products sectors.

The company was formerly known as LGC Capital Ltd. and changed its name to Elixxer Ltd. in August 2019.


The Company's investment mandate has been to invest in downstream activities including distribution and retail and development of market brands.

To date, the Company has significant positions in emerging legal cannabis companies in Canada and Italy. Current investments are mainly focused on medical cannabis and specialty cannabis derived products in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors.

The Company intends to play a more involved role in the businesses it invests in and to fully realize the economic potential of those investments.

Elixxer's aim is to identify opportunities to support growth and synergistic relationships within its existing investment platform and to position itself to capitalize on the rapidly changing landscape for the cannabis sector as legislation, regulations, and customer behavior change over time.

Additionally, Elixxer expands its focus beyond the cannabis sector, exploring a range of sectors and organizations that are past the start-up phase.


Summary


With backing from its blue-chip investors, the Vice President of Investor Relations will be the driving force behind Elixxer's Investor Relations program as the organization broadens its investment focus to a range of industry sectors.

With past and present assets across Canada, Europe, the Caribbean, and Australia, the Vice President will participate in a strategic review of the business and help chart a path forward for Elixxer.


  • Lead the development of key investor materials, including annual and quarterly financial reports, presentations, and corporate announcements;
  • Propose marketing plans to identify, contact and arrange meetings for CEO with potential new shareholders;
  • Engage with investors through various platforms to help educate them;
  • Oversee the building and updating of the Company's corporate website, ensuring it provides stakeholders with uptodate information and uses proper SEO;
  • Recommend service providers for SEO, audience building, website creation, content creation, and investor engagement;
  • Monitor trading activity and share price performance, providing actionable insights;
  • Respond to queries from investors and stakeholders, providing accurate and timely information;
  • Responsible for peer analysis and benchmarking, with a strong understanding of the cannabis industry. Monitor peer group for trends / IR best practices, and share findings;
  • Ensure all investor materials are in alignment with applicable regulatory requirements;
  • Some travel required.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working in in equity research or sales, investment banking or corporate development, or IR;
  • Excellent relationshipbuilding skills, with the ability to engage effectively and professionally with a range of stakeholders, including investors, analysts, and senior management;
  • Able to recommend service providers for website building, SEO and SEM, audience building, and investor outreach;
