ARRI Rental, the premier rental house for professional motion picture Camera and Lighting equipment is looking for a
Client Contact to work in our
Toronto, Canada office.


The
Client Contact position is responsible for developing and generating business by proactively building new client relationships while maintaining our existing client base.

Responsible for negotiating deals within established guidelines, fielding customer calls, providing quotes, sourcing equipment, and ensuring the necessary paperwork is in place so that billing is done in a timely manner.

It is critical that this role establishes and maintains strong client relations
. Able to cover duties in other departments as needed.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Generate business by proactively establishing new customer relationships while maintaining existing client base.
  • Take customer orders and negotiate packages within established guidelines.
  • Create quotes in system and ensure information is accurate.
  • Source equipment through branch transfers and subrentals or purchase if appropriate. Create PO's and work with the Purchasing department on requirements.
  • Work closely with fellow Client Contacts in the US and abroad on scheduling needs.
  • Coordinate with Operations & Service personnel to determine additional client equipment requirements based on the specific accessories or type of equipment package.
  • Communicate custom or specialty client requests and/or issues to the Branch Manager and/or Service Department
  • Verify correct billing information with the productions credit department.
  • Ensure paperwork (PO's, M&D's, etc.) is in order so that billing occurs in a timely manner.
  • Document detailed contact and technical information.
  • Communicate frequently and directly with clients and related film industry personnel to help satisfy their needs and expectations.
  • Communicate effectively and clearly with clients regarding the details of their rental i.e., equipment scheduling, equipment requirements and preferences, preliminary testing, prep and crew details, equipment swaps, troubleshooting, missing and damages, shipping logistics, etc.

Hourly - Non-Exempt - Full Time


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent


Experience/Knowledge:


  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in motion picture/camera equipment rental
  • Familiarity with Professional Film, Digital, and postproduction equipment necessary
  • Previous motion picture, commercial, or television industry rental experience
  • An understanding of camera rental equipment and/or motion picture and television industry experience
  • Fluent in Excel, Word, Power Point, order entry and CRM programs
  • Familiarity with R2 rental software a plus

Skills/Abilities:


  • Must possess some familiarity with industry used cameras, lenses, and related accessory manufacturers & product line
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in person, on the telephone and in writing
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a strong sense of urgency
  • Positive attitude, able and willing to cover work in other areas
  • Extremely motivated and able to maintain composure in stressful situations
  • Strong negotiation skills and good business sense
  • Able to work with a high degree of independent judgment
  • Must be detail oriented, exhibit strong organizational skills, and demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Must handle stressful situations professionally and interact with coworkers and clients respectfully
  • Must identify and resolve problems in a timely manner, gather and analyze information skillfully and exhibit sound and accurate judgment
  • Must comply with ARRI Rental's business practices in rentals, order entry, accounting, and inventory control

Compensation range:


The salary range for this role is $30 - $34 CAD annually and is dependent upon experience and skill set.
