    309A Journeyman Electrician (2 positions) (Belleville, ON) We are looking for a skilled and licensed 309A Journeyman Electrician to join our team. As a 309A Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in compliance with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC) and relevant regulations.Responsibilities:
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and wiring in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
  • Interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to plan and execute installations and upgrades.
  • Conduct inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance to ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical problems using testing devices and diagnostic tools.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to coordinate and complete electrical projects on time and within budget.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices and junior electricians to support their professional development.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe work practices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and changes in electrical codes and standards.
  • Requirements:
  • Valid 309A Electrical Contractor license issued by the Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) in Ontario.
  • Minimum of [number] years of experience working as a Journeyman Electrician in Ontario.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC) and other relevant regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical specifications.
