Job Summary
WelcomINNS Ottawa is currently looking for detailed oriented ''
PART TIME" Room Attendants to join our Housekeeping Team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Clean assigned number of rooms / areas per work shift according to the hotel's standards
Clean all aspects of the guest room, including beds/bedding, furniture, bathroom, carpet, etc.
Report any room deficiencies to the Housekeeping Manager
Maintain cleaning equipment, stocking of carts
Maintain linen rooms in a clean and tidy condition at all times
Return all "Lost and Found" items to the Housekeeping Office
Follow Health and Safety rules and guidelines at all times
Perform other related duties as required by your direct Manager

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Relevant education and experience is preferred but not required
Energetic, flexible, handson individual with initiative and integrity
Friendly and pleasant demeanour
Excellent customer service orientation
Highly organized and detail oriented, with a passion for cleanliness and tidiness
Work well under pressure, without supervision, independently and as a member of a team
Able to perform well in a fast paced work environment
Good communication skills
Strong teamwork skills
Must be physically fit to perform job duties as per hotel standards
Must be able to understand verbal English
Must have a valid Canadian work permit
Previous housekeeping experience an asset

Must be available to work on Saturdays, Sundays, Evenings and Weekends:

Must be flexible with hours

WORK CONDITIONS

Will spend 100% of the time standing and walking during the work shift
Must be able to lift and carry loads up to 50 pounds on regular basi
