Job Summary:
As a Project Administrator - Locates, you will provide technical and/or management support for locates and permits.
You will assist the operations staff with implementing project and divisional management plans so that projects are completed on time and within budget.

- Manage and prioritize daily locating tasks for both internal and external requests within the system
- Enter locate requests into the Ontario One Call system for every project.
- Compile final locate packages and permits for each Ontario One Call request.
- Monitor and address delayed locates by contacting the relevant utility company, ensuring compliance with the prioritized timelines mandated by the Ontario Government.
- Examine the existing job log and address any gaps in the life cycle, such as missing permits or locates.
- Supports Project coordinator to ensure enough locates are available to schedule.
Qualifications:
- Telecommunication experience is an asset
- Minimum 2 year of experience in an administrative support role for a telecommunications contract
- Prior knowledge of the Ontario One call system for locate submission
- Ability to read locates a must
- Proficient computer skills & knowledge of MS Excel
- Effective communication skills, confident interacting with key contacts at all levels in verbal, written and electronic form
- Good analytical skills, attention to detail and logical problem solver
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
