Responsibilities for this role include: - Collaborating with the Chief Estimator to review 'Requests For Quotations' and assist in prioritizing estimating workload - Ensuring accuracy of information in quotation submissions based on the most up-to-date drawings and project specifications - Preparing tender requests from subcontractors and suppliers for services and equipment - Entering labor and equipment estimates using specialized software - Meeting with the Project Coordinator to discuss project specifications and estimating assumptions upon customer approval - Assisting Project Coordinators with extra costs and change orders as needed - Reviewing completed projects and comparing actual performance with initial quotes - Adjusting databases based on actual costs and project experience - Participating in End of Project Review process Requirements for this role: - University Degree or Diploma in Construction Estimating, Engineering, or related field preferred - 5-8 years of estimating experience in mechanical projects (HVAC, piping systems, plumbing, etc.) in the ICI construction industry - Mid-Hi Rise construction industry experience is a plus - Mechanical design experience is beneficial - Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel - Familiarity with estimating software like Accubid Enterprise, Livecount, and electronic take-off tools To apply for this position, please submit your application online.
