This position can be remote based, anywhere within the US or Canada.

The Clinical Project Delivery Manager (CPDM) will be responsible for both line management and billable project delivery. The Clinical Project Delivery Manager (CPDM) will be remotely located anywhere within the United States or Canada.

As billable Global/Main Clinical Team Lead (CTL) on a project/portfolio:

  • Global oversight of clinical delivery within the project/portfolio.
  • Portfolio health.
  • Direct oversight of the other project CTLs, if applicable, to ensure consistent clinical oversight and delivery across the project/portfolio.
  • Supporting the CTL team in resolving issues that cannot be resolved at an individual level.
  • Succession planning and talent development with the project/portfolio.
  • Partnering with other functions to drive portfolio delivery.
  • Supporting portfolio growth opportunities, including supporting proposals and bid defenses.
  • Ensuring efficiencies across a portfolio.

As Line Manager:

  • Provide daytoday Line Management support of CTLs within GCPD.
  • Foster a collegial learning environment within and across GCPD.
  • Participate in resource allocation.

Required:

  • University/college degree (life science preferred) or certification in a related allied health profession (i.e. nursing, medical or laboratory technology) from an appropriately accredited institution.

Preferred:

  • Masters or other advanced degree.
  • PMP certification.

Minimum Required:


  • Minimum of five (5) years relevant clinical research experience in a pharmaceutical company/CRO, including at least two (2) years of CTL or equivalent combination of experience to successfully perform the responsibilities of the job.
  • Strong experience as an accomplished Clinical Team Lead / Senior Clinical Team Lead.
  • Mentoring experience, supporting other team members.
  • Previous line management experience, deputizing and carrying out supervisory and management tasks would be an advantage.

Preferred:


  • Global clinical project management experience.
