We are currently recruiting for an experienced Patient Concierge to join HFC as a part of our highly successful, fast paced, and rapidly growing specialized healthcare team.


The Role:


Reporting to the Manager, Patient Services, the Patient Services Concierge is responsible for multiple front-line and patient centered duties including welcoming new and returning patients, patient experience, and general administrative tasks and assignments.

This role provides front-line support to the Patient Services teams as the patient's first point of contact for HFC and helping to provide the optimal patient experience during the patient's time with HFC.


While the Patient Services Concierge has no direct reports, this position plays a key role at HFC and also works closely with the Patient Services and Finance team, patients, nursing staff, and physicians.

This position requires the ability to multi-task, learn quickly, work with a large variety of patients and colleagues, and remaining calm during any difficult situations/conversations.

Job Duties:


  • Places a prioritization on patients at all times
  • Greets and registers patients
  • Leads and assists patients to appropriate areas of the clinic to maintain flow
  • Answer phones and direct calls or take messages
  • Performs general office duties such as photocopying, faxing, scanning, and mailing
  • Processes patient invoices/payments
  • Restocks and tidies treatment and conference rooms
  • Assists other staff members where needed

Skills & Qualifications

  • Has superior client service skills, confidentiality and a professional demeanor
  • Has excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team
  • Has successfully obtained their OSSD or equivalent
  • Has a minimum of two years experience as a high performer in a customer service role
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Is dependable and has a good attendance record
  • Is selfmotivated with an ability to remain focused in a busy and high stress environment
  • Is able to prioritize and seamlessly manage multiple tasks
  • Has highly effective organizational and communication skills
