ROLE OVERVIEW

Lead, Mine Infrastructure. This is a unique opportunity to join a team that is

focused on supporting the advancement of the Rook I project, a Tier-1 uranium

project, as it transitions to the next stage of its development.

This role is to manage and lead the advancement of several key engineering and

execution packages for the Rook I Project. We are looking for two (2) highly

motivated self-starters with an entrepreneurial spirit who is comfortable being

on a small team while working on multiple projects in a growth-oriented

and project execution experience in underground mining.

The Lead, Mine Infrastructure will report directly to the Director, Mine Technical

Services.


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
( inc luding but not l imi ted to):
Act as the primary owner to manage multiple detailed engineering packages

for underground and surface mine infrastructure, including shaft sinking

engineering.

(contractors or employees) to participate in technical review and due

diligence processes.

Provide input and guidance to the project scheduling team to maintain the

Project master schedule.

Provide mentoring to other technical staff on the Project Development Team.

Work with the Project Controls team to monitor project spending and

schedule.

Act as engineering lead on major construction packages such as Headframe,

Hoist, Maintenance Shops (Surface & Underground), Large Ventilation fans

and overland conveyors with stackers.

Provide capital cost estimate support such as consolidated schedules and costs.

Engineering lead on underground material movements systems such as

conveyors, loading pockets, crushers, and rock breakers.

Responsible for underground supporting infrastructure such as maintenance

garages, dewatering systems, ventilation on demand, and underground water

storage systems.

Assist in providing project updates and communications materials.

Prepare materials for procurement and funding processes.

Identify opportunities to improve and streamline current internal business

processes.

Collaborate with other departments and members of the integrated NexGen

team in alignment with business objectives and priorities.

Complete ad-hoc tasks and analysis for management to support key business

objectives.

Other duties as assigned.


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Engineering degree or equivalent combination of formal education, training and

experience.

7+ years of related technical experience, with experience in underground mining,

construction, and greenfield sites build.

Experience around shaft sinking set up and operation.

Professional designation of P.Eng. and or PMP viewed favorably.

Excellent project management skills with a strong ability to manage varied and

multi-discipline scopes of work.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships and

communicate directly with the Project Leadership on key issues, in a timely,

efficient and trustworthy manner.

Proactive and highly motivated with demonstrated ability to prioritize

effectively.
