Imago_, excellent chefs play a critical role in achieving the company's goals of providing an outstanding customer experience featuring top-quality food and drink in a friendly and enjoyable environment.

Each chef plans and manages the operation of a kitchen to produce the highest quality products in the most cost-effective manner and present them attractively and efficiently.

Chefs hire, train, manage, motivate and mentor all kitchen staff.

Chefs ensure that all kitchen staff fully understand the requirements of preparation and presentation of all items on the menu and are able to execute their individual shares of the tasks.

Chefs schedule and assign kitchen staff to ensure the presence of the required mix of skills during each service period.

At _
Imago_, chefs plan or participate in the planning and modification of food and beverage menus. They plan and execute daily and/or weekly specials in consultation with the General Manager.

Chefs anticipate the demand for various menu items, including specials and promotions, and plan to purchase activities to optimize cost-effectiveness, freshness, and storage capacity, while minimizing wastage.


At _
Imago_, chefs monitor and control food costs, the physical state of the kitchen and tools, and food handling practices.

They continually encourage health and safety awareness in the kitchen and throughout the restaurant.

Salary:
$60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
