Key responsibilities include:


Strategic Pricing

  • Responsible for improving lifecyclemanagement by implementing of annual price increases, developing contract/RFP pricing modelling, and improve upon negotiation strategies
  • Support Senior Manager in strategic pricing projects and initiatives
  • Develop pricing models and scenarios to support pCPA and private payer negotiations and product listing agreements to optimize the commercialization of existing or emerging brands
  • Submit semiannual PMPRB reports and ensure drug prices are in compliance with the pricing guidelines by working with both all stakeholders
  • Complete and submit
  • Implement pricing approval process and compliance requirements locally and globally including PMPRB reporting, monitoring and issues management
  • Assess and analyze price performance against assumed targets and objectives
  • Uses data mining, market insights, and environmental trends to inform strategies and plans.

Contract Management and Influence

  • Build and review financial models supporting the contracting with payers
  • Support the development of term sheets and contract language as required
  • Ensures contract documentation requirements are followed and supports the contract approval requirements and process
  • Supervise contract and program performance by reviewing and analyzing data; uses this analysis as the basis for recommendations for future contracts and programs

Other responsibilities:


  • Lead validation process for PLA invoices, ensuring
  • Collaborate and lead cross functional team members on process improvement

Skills and Capabilities:


  • Strong analytical skills forecasting, financial modelling, business impact analysis and database management


  • Excellent technical skills

  • Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong eye for business
  • Attention to detail is critical
  • Ability to think strategically in developing new business solutions
  • Strong communication skills: interpersonal, writing and presentation
  • Quick forward thinking
  • Desire to learn about market access environment
  • Adaptive style with ability to influence and establish relationships with a range of collaborators

Qualifications:


  • Excellent communications skills (written, spoken and presentation)
  • Demonstrated capacity for learning in a fastpaced work environment
  • Experience in pricing is a significant asset
  • Previous market access or payer experience is a significant asset.
  • Previous working experience in pharmaceutical pricing is desirable
  • Successful track record demonstrating strong analytic capability
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry e.g. IQVIA databases is an asset
  • Fluency in French is an asset
