Job Description:

Reporting to the Manager, Communications Delivery Centre you will join a team of communications professionals delivering a wide range of strategic and impactful internal and external communications activities for the functional areas of Rio Tinto.

You will bring innovation and creativity to the way we deliver communications, working with and through the Communications Business Partners.

Key accountabilities

Promotes innovative use of communication channels.
Challenges process inefficiencies and drives team alignment and effectiveness.
Provides comprehensive internal and external communications planning and support for strategic functional projects and annual activities (eg Annual Results, People Survey).
Confidently produces high quality content for a variety of corporate communications channels (good news stories, newsletters, intranet/website, social media, leader announcements)
Develops and executes internal and external communications strategies.
Supports large virtual (BlueJeans / Teams) and inperson events for Group Executives.
Supports Business Resilience Team exercises and activations as a member of the Communications team.
Champions branding guidelines, ensuring the communications materials produced by the Communications Delivery Centre are consistent, highquality.
Manages endtoend video production and animations.
Coach leaders to be more effective communicators through training and templates.
Be a trusted advisor to Communications Business Partners in the delivery of communications support
