Billing Clerk - Toronto, Canada - Inmar
Description
The Billing Specialist is responsible for providing timely and accurate invoices for all orders serviced by Inmar's Canadian operations.We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who has experience reviewing contracts and working with internal stakeholders to understand and bill customers based on services offered and service levels being met.
Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
- Ensure monthly client billing is completed in a timely basis.
- Prepare special billing reports to accompany invoices
- Processing credit memos
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure Oracle is up and running at all times, troubleshooting when necessary.
- Resolve billing issues with Account Managers.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for the department.
- Generate required reports for management.
- Coordinate with other departments as required.
- Make recommendations to management to improve the billing function.
- Ensure all department productivity standards are met.
- Ensure compliance with the company Injury and Illness Prevention Program.
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Minimum Requirements:
- High School or College diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a billing clerk or in a similar role
- Excellent time management skills and ability to problem solve
- Skill proficiency in math skills, Windows and Oracle
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Excellent typing skills required
- Strong attention to detail
