Food and Beverage Manager
Summary:
The Food and Beverage Manager is responsible for the management of a full-service restaurant, pub, and banquet.
Essential Functions:
- Direct, supervise and develop the outlet's team members. Develop banquet service operations and ensure that all banquet services and details are executed.
- Assists in ensuring events are on time. Adjust as needed and relay information to the appropriate person/s.
- Recruit, train, and evaluates all F&B employees to ensure a high standard of service is met.
- Achieve budget forecasts, revenues, and profit goals.
- Ensure food and beverage cost controls are in place and followed
- Maintains effective employee relations by conducting regular team meetings focusing on the goals of the hotel.
- Oversee Caterease, coordinates with Sales & Catering department to ensure BEO accuracy
- Be a liaison for the events between clients and the kitchen for guest satisfaction
- Provides weekly sales activity reports to the General Manager.
- Working knowledge of wines and spirits.
- Assists service staff during service
- Takes care of the ordering of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages and maintains par stock.
- Conducts monthly inventory
- Perform other duties as required or assigned from timetotime
Requirements:
- A degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent
- ProServe and Food Safe Certificate
- 2+ years of fulltime experience working in a restaurant/bar environment
- Proven bartending experience
- Strong communication skills; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. Must also be able to communicate effectively with customers at all levels of the organization.
- Must be able to lift 50+ pounds without supervision; standing for long periods of time is required.

$60,000.00 per year

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
