BIOVECTRA Inc. has an immediate opening for a
People Development Coordinator. This is a full-time permanent position located in
Charlottetown, PEI.

  • Developing initial and recurrent training programs/plans and schedules.
  • Coordinating the design, development, and delivery of training programs to support the immediate training needs, compliance, and organizational goals.
  • Facilitating Classroom training.
  • Coordinating and scheduling all aspects of orientation training and providing the employee and supervisor with a documented Training Schedule.
  • Gathering feedback and suggestions from new and existing employees on current training methods
  • Coordinating and scheduling additional training i.e. classroom, OJT, offsite, and online when required.
  • Ensuring employees complete all internal required training on a timely basis.
  • Updating training profiles and ensure all profiles are complete and accurate.
  • Identifying outside courses, materials, and resources to assist employees and supervisors with continuous training efforts.
  • Developing measures and processes for assessing quality and effectiveness of training programs.
  • Maintaining a strong working knowledge of elearning techniques.
  • Assisting in the establishment of acceptable training standards consistent with industry best practices.
  • Assisting with the implementation, and managing, in consultation with operational and regulatory personnel, a training program for new employees.
  • Recommending training programs to resolve any outstanding training gaps as identified by supervisors.
  • Adhering to BIOVECTRA's Health and Safety Policy as outlined in CP0010 Occupational Health and Safety Policy, Statements of Principle, and Responsibilities.
  • Additional duties assigned, based on business needs and the department supervisor's request.
  • Post-Secondary Degree, Diploma or Certification
  • Experience in a related field (HR, Business, Training and Development)
  • Ideally a minimum of one years' experience working with adult learning principles, training concepts, policies, and practices
  • Experience in team facilitation, instruction, or training
  • Excellent time management, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
