ORDER PICKER
DEPARTMENT:
WAREHOUSE
KIRKLAND, QUEBEC
OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:
Performs all tasks associated with kitting all items on job orders for sub-contracting and occasionally production, keeping products in inventory organized and with accurate locations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kitting
- Receives job orders from the planning group and pick materials according to job order kitting list.
- Deducts all quantities of components from inventory after completion of the kit for each job order as per Syteline procedure.
- Inspects all boxes for proper labels and information.
- Ensures that job orders are routed to the correct department.
- Executes cycle counts of products to verify the accuracy of computer quantities.
- Applies first in first out (FIFO) policy during all product and component movements.
- Maintains clean and orderly work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
Receiving
- Receives all incoming shipments from suppliers and RMA's.
- Verifies if PO numbers, quantities correspond with packing slips.
- Maintains accurate records and documentation of shipments received as required.
- Prepare the outgoing and incoming shipments of the plated components.
INITIATIVE REQUIRED:
Must be able to work with speed and accuracy, under pressure. Must also be meticulous, responsible, have good work ethics and a positive attitude.

Reports directly to the Production Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of inventory systems in manufacturing
- Knowledge of ISO procedures
Skills:
- Basic mathematics skills
- Basic PC data processing ability an asset
- Bilingual (English/French) an asset

EDUCATION:
- High School Certificate
EXPERIENCE:
- 1 to 3 years stock room experience in a manufacturing company
WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
Plant working conditions. Overtime may be required.
Must comply with all safety regulations and procedures on all equipment and in regards to the working environment in general.
