PAL Airlines is currently accepting qualified applicants for a
Ramp Attendent Supervisor in
Montreal, QC.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Liaise with external agencies for ground operation
  • Review ground operations performance in relation to our SLA.
  • Aircraft are loaded/unloaded in accordance with the loading instructions, received from Flight dispatch, noting any deviations
  • Ensure that company PPE is used and maintained in proper working order by all employees
  • Oversee and manage Ground Servicing Equipment
  • Instruct personnel in the proper working practices and update instruction as required
  • Training coordinator and on Job training
  • Report all hazards to Regional Ground Manager
  • Comply with all H&S regulations and procedures
  • Maintain OHS compliancy
  • Report all noncompliance to the Regional Ground manager
  • Produce yearly appraisals
  • Establish work schedules and procedures for tow team and coordinate activities with other departments
  • Produce and verify Towing staff time sheet
  • Requisition of supplies
  • Performing additional duties as assigned by the Regional Ground manager
  • Other duties as required.

Qualifications:


  • Experience as a lead ramp attendant would be an asset
  • 23 years of relevant work experience
  • Ability to mentor coworkers and provide guidance in a supervisory role
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts short notice for additional flights, charters and sick/vacation coverage
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Transport Canada Security Clearance
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Excellent problem solving and decisionmaking skills
