Project Coordinator - Security DivisionLocation:
Canada
Attain is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to meet the demands of clients for services relating to Security and Smart Building programs, with a focus on Security project coordination, assisting consulting team with assessments, requirements, and designs.
Responsibilities:
- Engaging with clients and partners for the purposes of coordination of consultation and systems design and engineering, such as: requirement gathering, training, design, workshops, presentations, construction meetings, coordination, and commissioning.
- Coordination of developing systems designs and related documentation.
- Assisting in writing customer reports.
- Coordination and assistance in drafting specification documents, client proposals and other correspondence and reports for clients.
- Coordination of planning, designing, coordinating and project management of Security Solutions, Security Strategies, Electronic Security Systems.
- Coordination and assisting with conducting site surveys, providing functional requirements, reviewing CAD drawings, specifications, bills of materials, scope of work, cost estimates, quotes, commissioning, and door hardware coordination.
- Developing and building working relationships with clients, staff, partners, and suppliers.
- Coordination and assisting in the performing reviews on security designs by peers.
Requirements/Skillset:
- The ability to be Secret Cleared with the Canadian Government (Canadian Citizen with 10 years of verifiable work history in Canada)
- Possessing strong attention to detail.
- Ability to read, interpret, and write technical and communications drawings and specifications.
- Solid knowledge of National and Provincial Building Codes, as well as Associated Standards (CSA ).
- Demonstrated time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once, reporting to various stakeholders.
- Proficient in O365 suite, proficient or familiar with Asana, MS Teams/planner, WorkFlowMax
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to travel (less than 5%).
- Valid driver license.
Assets:
- Some AutoCAD and/or Revit drafting skills
- CPTED Certification
- BCISI or Network Certifications
- PSP or CPP Certifications
- University degree or College diploma in relevant technology.
- Bilingualism (English / French) and excellent communication skills (oral and written)
