As a
Property Restoration Technician with
First General Waterloo Region Inc, you will assist homeowners following their flood, fire, smoke, odour, mould, or other property loss.

Join our elite team of technicians and we will train you You must have a keen eye and willingness for doing the job right the first time, compassion and understanding for our homeowners suffering a loss, and a desire to grow your skills.

Because the property loss at each home is different, no two days are the same.

Your responsibilities will vary from mitigating a loss including conducting moisture tracking, removal of debris (flooring, walls, ceilings, cabinetry, contents), establishing drying requirements and putting that plan into place.

You will monitor job sites, making adjustments along the way.

Other days, you will assist with a board up of doors and windows following a fire loss, work on a team to remove damaged materials and/or assist in packing in/out contents.

Once a home is ready for the rebuild stages, you may assist in a large variety of construction duties. This job keeps you always looking for best practices, critical thinking and providing top-notch execution. You will always be supported by a team who becomes your "work family" and wants the best for you.

We work Monday - Friday 7:15-4:30... but accidents happen in homes 24/7, therefore we have a rotating oncall schedule with financial perks

Qualifications include:
- valid and insurable driver's licence
- clean back ground check
- high school diploma or equivalent

English speaking and writing

- familiar and comfortable working with hand tools/small power tools (ie: drill, sawsall)
- positive team attitude

Salary:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour
