Responsibilities:
SUMMARY:
Working throughout the transit system at specifically assigned locations and times, the Compass Data Collections Assistant observes and log information about customers entering or exiting the transit system.
The Compass Data Collections Assistant records information and captures any relevant notes regarding the measurements using a mobile device and app provided by the organization.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Uses the mobile device and tools to log information on customers entering and exiting the transit system in an accurate and complete manner.
Traveling to pre-assigned transit stations, bus exchanges or bus stops including travelling on assigned bus routes, based on a schedule provided by the Senior Advisor.
Using the mobile device to accurately capture, including but not limited to, the time and location of the measurement being taken, the mode of transit being observed, and the number of customers entering and exiting the transit system.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION
Requires partial high school (Grade 10), or equivalent. Requires capability in using mobile device apps. Dexterity and vision to record information accurately a must.
EXPERIENCE
Requires training on using the mobile device and tools to log information on customers entering and exiting the transit system in an accurate and complete manner.

An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process.
A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.Work Schedule:
37.5 hours per week.
This is a part-time temporary positions with terms ranging between - 5 weeks.

Resident
This position works predominately on-site
Rate of Pay:
Salary $3,52- 4, 234 per month (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).
