Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Coordinator to join our supply chain team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receipt of inbound materials, managing inventory levels, optimizing warehouse distribution, and ensuring seamless order fulfillment through effective demand planning and data analysis. This role requires strong skills in data analysis, process improvement, and supply management to support operational efficiency. The Inventory Coordinator will collaborate across departments including procurement, manufacturing, and warehouse to maintain accurate inventory records and improve overall materials management processes.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure company processes are followed and ERP information is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Conduct data collection and analysis to forecast production requirements, support procurement decisions, and improve inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams for replenishing materials and managing logistics providers to optimize costs and delivery times.
  • Oversee inventory distribution activities, including the use of forklifts for materials handling and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
  • Implement process improvements in inventory workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline order processing.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, conduct regular cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
  • Accurate and timely receiving, storage, maintenance and movement of inventory.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse.

Skills

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis.
  • Experience working with ERP systems including Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics Nav, or similar platforms; familiarity with warehouse management systems is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory tracking and reporting.
  • Familiarity with logistics operations and inventory management practices.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-department collaboration.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new system and tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
  • Experience in manufacturing environment is an asset.
  • Forklift Operator certification an asset.
