Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis & Monthly Forecasting work with business metrics to analyze and build monthly financial models that provide visibility and understanding of current operations and future trends
- Financial Modeling of New Initiatives work with initiative sponsors and cross function teams to translate business objectives into multiyear business plans (financial & operational metrics) that enable business decisions.
- Periodically monitor operational metrics and financial results versus business cases
- Other financial/analytics support as required
What do you need to be a Financial Planning Analyst at Yellow Pages?
- Qualifications_:
- Education_:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or a businessrelated disciple
- Accounting or Financial title an asset
- Experience_:
- 35 years of diversified business experience in a financial role, preferably with a focus on analytics
- Consulting experience an asset
- Other_:
- Advanced Excel modeling skills
- Bilingual (English/French)
- Nice to have:_
- Proven analytical capabilities, strategic thinking and business acumen
- Advanced knowledge of financial management concepts
- Strong experience in financial analysis, financial modeling and business case preparation
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and ability to articulate analytical results
- Autonomous with a sense of accountability
- Demonstrated ability to juggle concurrent projects and demonstrate flexibility within a fastpaced and frequently changing environment
- Ability to work effectively in a crossfunction team environment
- Ability to negotiate, communicate and influence at all levels of the organization
- Project management experience an asset
