    This role will be based out of the QuadReal office at 199 Bay Street. Occasional travel to Collingwood, ON and properties throughout Canada will be required.

    Role Description

    The Manager, Communications is responsible for the development, coordination, production, and execution of all collateral materials to support corporate and internal communications. This candidate will ensure all communications activities support the organisation's business plans and objectives and reflects Parkbridge values. The manger will work closely with key internal stakeholders including human resources, marketing, and operations to support clear messaging throughout the organization, on its internal channels and beyond. This candidate will be a culture champion and will move strategy into action. This role will report directly to the Director, Communications.

    This is hybrid role that requires attendance at our Toronto or Collingwood Offices 3 days per week.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Lead, Plan, and Execute:

  • Develop and implement processes, policies, templates, and messaging that align corporate communications with brand standards and corporate values.
  • Assist in the development of corporate communications strategies and campaigns.
  • Oversee the creation of materials for print or digital publication and distribution.
  • Write and edit content to be issued on various external channels, as well as among key stakeholder audiences (government, industry, peers, and partners).
  • Lead employee communications activities alongside human resources and key leadership, supporting culture and collaboration within Parkbridge.
  • Managing a calendar of internal communications events and campaigns in support the business.
  • Manage internal communications platforms and events including, the intranet, town halls, and newsletters.
  • Manage social media channels for the organization along with peers and partners, such as marketing.
  • Ensure Parkbridge is leveraging the latest tools and technology to support communications delivery, monitoring, and measurement.
  • Collaborate and work with QuadReal and its partners.
  • Assist in the management of the internal budgets and resources.
  • Communications Support:
  • Adept in both internal and external communications, will support media and government relations activities, alongside senior members of the Parkbridge team.
  • Identify and assess relevant media issues, news, and events by proactively monitoring industry and market-related events.
  • Provide strategic counsel and advice to senior management and spokespeople on their interactions with media and at conferences.
  • Leverage research insights and analytics to drive communications activities and track results, both internal and external.
  • Experience, Qualifications & Skills:
  • A seasoned communications professional with a minimum of 6+ years' experience with strong internal and external communications expertise.
  • Bachelor's Degree or a post-secondary diploma in communications, marketing, business, journalism, or a related discipline
  • Ability to work across channels, both internal and external, with content development experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills.
  • Traditional and social media experience is essential.
  • Strong delivery of employee communications and change management.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to manage conflicting priorities and to deliver multiple projects to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exposure and experience to support senior leaders in a communications role.
  • A service and partnership orientated approach to dealing with internal stakeholders.
  • A willingness to share different perspectives to contribute to new ways to go beyond expectations.
  • A willingness to be flexible to accommodate colleagues across multiple time zones.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Entrepreneurial approach and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Experience in an agency or political environment is an asset.
  • Real estate experience is helpful, but not essential.
  • G-class driver's license is required.
  • Bilingual French is also an asset.
