We are looking for an Information Technology Specialist who is based in Manitoba, to join our Information Technology team.


Responsibilities

• Manage/plan, implement, and support onpremises and cloudhosted IT projects and systems.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of IT systems and their constituent parts.
• Continuously analyze and improve the company's information security posture.
• Assess and improve business continuity (HA/DR/etc.) from an IT perspective.
• Provide afterhours coverage as part of an oncall rotation.
• Consult with vendors on an asneeded basis.
• Occasionally provide technical support to Niche employees.

Required qualifications and skills

• Technical college diploma.
• 3+ years of IT/network administration experience.
• Extensive applied experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange.
• Demonstrated understanding of contemporary IT infrastructure (SAN, hypervisors, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, etc.).

Desirable qualifications and skills

• Infosec/cyber security experience and/or certifications.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of IT management/leadership experience.
• Microsoft certifications such as Windows Server Hybrid Administrator/MCSE/etc.
• Cisco certifications such as CCNA/CCNE/etc.
• Microsoft 365 SharePoint/Teams/etc. administration.
• WordPress administration.
• Linux server administration.
