Description
Nature of work- The job of administration officer involves the daytoday administration of programs and collaborating with one or more College services.
- More specifically, the Administration Officer will provide a principal role in the management of the Dawson College Health Clinic (DCHC), in organizing external facility and transportation rentals with the Physical Education department, and in managing contracts with external partners in the healthcare system. The Administration Officer will oversee proper document storage and retention for all three dossiers.
Responsibilities:
- Dawson College Health Clinic (DCHC)
- Responsible for operational and administrative support
- Coordinate development of promotional material for DCHC clinic's services (traditional, social media, etc.)
- Oversee invoicing with external suppliers, including reconciliation
- Coordinate with Human Resources department and faculty for scheduling of occasional staff
- Oversee budget submissions and reconcile with annual operating budget
- Work with support staff to facilitate payment of stage billings, as per amounts set within the Contracts of Association
- Other duties assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in an appropriate specialization, particularly administration or management.
- Conditions
- Ability to work autonomously and as a team leader
- Good organizational skills
- Advanced English communication skills (testing may be required)
- Advanced French communication skills (testing may be required)
- Management/Marketing in a healthcare or medical environment is an asset
- Intermediate Microsoft Word skill an asset (testing may be required)
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skill an asset (testing may be required)
