Position Description

:

The Merchandiser is responsible for developing and managing the successful execution of footwear and apparel merchandising strategies by combining consumer insight and business acumen to reach

productivity, and financial goals, while aligning to overall Brand strategy.

The responsibility of the Merchandiser is to manage the product assortment across all relevant categories and classifications for our accounts and create an assortment through the global offering & working with the regional creation center that aligns to the regional direction delivers against consumer needs, and is profitable for both PUMA and the account.

Execute the global and regional merchandising strategy in order to achieve country wholesale targets.

Analysis

Becomes category expert on the country's door profiles (consumer I retail segmentation) for all points of distribution in Canada.

Prepare industry analysis, market research, and competitive analysis.

Drives and Provides category analysis to management

Planning & Product

:

Seasonal Line Planning -defines country collection and business plan according to budget targets and in line with the regional/ global business strategy. Include product selection, pricing and margin goals.

Executes Seasonal Key Assortments and develops the overall product assortment proposal by BU I Segment I Sub Segment and DC.

Development and presentation of seasonal product collections, inclusive of key account direction and

Liaison with PUMA international, PNA, World cat and partners.

Timely execution and follow up of all products related functions of the seasonal business calendar
