Description

Commercial painting contractor has an opening for a career-minded Estimator/Project Manager.

As an Estimator and Project Manager you will be responsible for estimating the material and production costs associated with painting as per customer specifications.

The position requires a mathematical aptitude and a good knowledge of the various painting processes.

The individual must be capable of analyzing the task and breaking down the work into correct sequence and content to prepare an accurate estimate.

Competent understanding of reading specifications and blueprints is key

Estimation & Project Management Requirements

Produce fair and accurate estimates of work to be completed including pricing, budgets, profit margins, specifications, reports and invoicing
Estimates to be prepared with the use of estimating packages, spreadsheets and an electric digitizer

Interpreting and reading blueprints, drawings and specifications:

Manage costs to established project budgets and target profit margins
Oversee project deliverables and monitor progress
Overseeing the tendering and awarding of contracts.
Proactively identifying, addressing, and resolving issues and problems as or before they occur.
Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with clients, consultants and trades with a focus on mutual trust and respect.

Compensation based on experience.

Salary:
$60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
