To support us on our journey, the Building Services and Engineering department is looking for a licensed Plumber to join its team at the Mount Sinai Hospital site.

In compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and its regulations, the principal responsibilities of the Maintenance Plumber include:

Inspects, installs, repairs and replaces pipes, fittings and plumbing fixtures to maintain the heating, water, gas and drainage systems of the Hospital facilities.
Repairs and maintains health care related plumbing fixtures such as, bed pan flushers, etc.

Job Requirements

Ontario Plumber's License
Successful completion of a high school diploma
Minimum 23 years' of recent related institutional experience
Ability to read plumbing schematic drawings and upgrades
Ability to communicate and read using English in order to effectively perform the essential requirements of this position
Ability to keyboard and have basic computer skills an asset
Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history
