This role helps ensure the sustained continuity of technical mastery and line leadership in manufacturing, by leading a key line of the business (technical, system or organizational) to deliver results defined by the compelling business need of the site.

You ensure that key business results are achieved and for developing others to ensure the sustained continuity of technical mastery on the manufacturing line.

Using a systematic approach, you use strategic thinking skills to ensure results are sustained over the long term.


How you will contribute


In your likely first managerial role, you will ensure that Mondelēz International's safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets are achieved for the lines for which you are responsible by breaking down section targets into line and unit targets and ensuring that employees understand their individual performance goals related to the overall targets.

In this role, you will also develop budgets and be responsible for costs control management, governance and compliance, loss elimination and workforce planning, including recruitment, retention, development, succession planning, and the identification of high potential team members.

You will bring experience and knowledge in:

  • Autonomous maintenance (AM) Step 4 systems and progressive maintenance (PM) Step 3 systems
  • Maintaining equipment at basic conditions independently, including the execution of AM & PM (breakdown maintenance, planned maintenance) standards on dedicated equipment
  • Total productive maintenance and Six Sigma including qualification of AM steps 56, and PM step
  • Leading line teams
  • Handling challenging interpersonal situations tactfully
  • Influencing people in a union environment
  • Communicating effectively verbally and in writing and a good attention to detail

What we expect from you?

  • The Line Manager will lead his/her technical support group, front line supervisors, and core teams in all dimensions of manufacturing including Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Morale to ensure that his/her manufacturing lines are safely producing highquality products at the right cost to satisfy our customers in a predictable manner while developing a highperformance organization through our integrated lean six sigma program.
  • The Line Manager will partner with the leaders of all the supporting functions to drive continuous improvement in all dimensions of manufacturing from ideation to sustainability.

Who is a good fit?

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in engineering or business related.
  • Must possess at least 3 years of demonstrated leadership experience in a highperformance manufacturing work environment in food, pharmaceutical, and/or automotive industry.
  • Passion for improving the safety culture and the quality of our products.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading highperformance teams through the implementation of TPM or integrated lean six sigma.
  • Demonstrated project management experience to drive innovation and improvements across multifunctional teams from ideation to sustainability.
  • Selfdriven and able to work with low or minimum supervision.
  • Very strong analytical, computer, and trouble shooting skills.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and work effectively with a wide array of plant personnel.
  • Available to work Monday through Friday during office hours. Flexibility to support his/her core teams during the offhours due to specific (planned and/or unplanned) situations.
