Required Qualifications:

Completion of bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent.


Additional Required Qualifications:


A Diploma or Degree in a related health field such as Laboratory Medicine with at least 5 years of experience in information technology may be considered equivalent.

High proficiency with Linux shell scripting. Proficiency in python and R required, and willingness to learn new programming languages as necessary. Full stack software development including front-end web (or graphical user interface) programming. Experience with relational databases (SQL). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills; an ability to resolve technical issues and identify root cause. Effective communication skills including technical communication/documentation. Experience in creating test plans, testing coordination, and test execution.


Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of Next Generation Sequencing platforms and processes. Experience with project implementation, project management, and/or IT operations. Knowledge of healthcare system integration (HL7).
