Summary
The Administrative Assistant to the Operations Manager will be required to perform an array of administrative tasks. As well as other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.

Job Duties

  • Provide administrative support.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality in all interactions.
  • Assist with report and presentation preparation.
  • Maintain a professional image and demeanor with all employees, management, executives and visitors at all times.
  • Follow up with outstanding tasks of others
  • Other duties, relevant to the position, shall be assigned as required.

Requirements:


  • Business Administration degree or diploma required.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills with an ability to respond promptly to requests; effective telephone techniques; tact, courtesy and patience.
  • Professionalism and a positive "cando" attitude demonstrated at all times.
  • Contributing in a team atmosphere as well as on an individual basis.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular) and in house computer operating systems.
  • Understands the need for change management and responding to changes in a positive, collaborative manner.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and handle continuous interruptions while working in a fast paced environment.
  • 2 years' experience as an Administrative Assistant, or relevant role, considered an asset.
