Industrial Cold Milling is part of Miller Paving Atlantic, based in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. As a Milling Groundsperson, You Will:

Operate and run ground controls on milling machine
Mill, maintain, and monitor a desired depth/slope
Monitor and evaluate upcoming pathway for any interruptions in progress and address, as required
Assist with clean up at the completion of each pass
Assist with maintenance, as required
Other duties as required

What You'll Bring:

Valid class 5 driver's licence with driver's abstract meeting Miller expectations
2 to 3 years of experience on a milling crew
Knowledge of grades: cross slops, super elevations, offset grades, swales, etc. an asset
General equipment operation experience in road construction is required
Ability to use mobile technology including tablet, laptops; knowledge of MS Office including Teams and Outlook
Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot with assistance
Effective team player
Ability to operate in a fast paced and demanding environment in a safe and effective manner
Ability to communicate effectively and work well with others; team player who is willing to help in all areas; excellent customer service skills
Must have high attention to detail and the ability to work and think critically
Travel is required and will also require weekend work
