    About the Role

    Our organization seeks an experienced Substation Design Engineer to join its electrical engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to high-quality electrical layout plans and collaborate with technical teams (project manager, CAD designers) to deliver successful substation projects.



    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop detailed substation designs including equipment placement, bus configurations, and grounding systems

    • Create comprehensive documentation including electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, bill of materials

    • Precision sizing of equipment is required along with load calculations and studies on grounding as per relevant standards


      • About You

      • You should have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution. Professional licensure such as PEng would be advantageous for success within this role; flexibility exists if additional certification may need time & effort outside regular work schedule hours every week without impacting job performance too much but still doing things efficiently at home office setup before coming back into office environment whenever needed again later down line possibly someday hopefully soon please don't get me wrong though - travel willingness across entire region counted highly valued especially ontario based location specifically aimed targetted focus primarily located situated there current current future roadmaps aligned accordingly strategic priorities aligned naturally follows suit namely Ontariobased employee staying strong growth projections tied long term stability innovation drives behind push never stop pushing boundaries challenging exciting opportunities await diligent hardworking individuals keen eager striving continuous learning overcoming personal/professional hurdles growing daily meeting monthly targets making significant contributions positively impactful differences continuously seeking knowledge sharing best practices open communication fostering healthy respectful positive collaborative environments achieving set objectives setting examples others follow genuinely proud serving community working towards common goal better tomorrow today together everyone!
