Description

The Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring that excellent customer service is provided as orders are promptly and safely delivered to various locations throughout a designated area.

You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities:

Deliver a variety of assembled and nonassembled office furniture to various locations within a designated area, with a colleague
Follow routes and a time schedule
Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a 3 or a 5ton truck
Complete daily inspection logs and reports
Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
Collect payments
Occasionally required to assist with the installation and assembly of some products

Qualifications:

23 years experience driving a large truck (3 or 5ton) in traffic and on busy streets, with both manual and automatic transmissions
Clean, professional appearance and exceptional customer service skills
Ability to consistently carry 75lbs unassisted and willing to do stair carries
Valid Driver's License with a clean Driver's Abstract

Shift

Schedule:
Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 4:30pm. Occasional Saturday shifts required
