Limelight is looking for a Business Development Representative (BDR) to join the team


We are looking for high-energy, driven professionals with sound business acumen, strong technical aptitude, and natural sales instincts to join our sales team You will support multiple Account Executives hunting new business within specific territories and targeting senior decision makers at forward-thinking medium and large businesses to help them advance their planning and reporting process with our platform Limelight.


The day-to-day:


  • Collect, understand, and communicate the prospect's challenges
  • Book introductory calls with qualified prospects
  • Build and maintain a solid relationship with prospective customers.
  • Building sales messaging & sales cadences for efficient and effective sales outreach
  • Assist in the management of the Sales inbox, respond to live chat messages
  • Generating requirements from prospects to continuously strengthen the product.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align on top of funnel sales activities surrounding marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with a team of Account Executives

Must-haves:


  • You are personable and build lasting relationships with people.
  • Natural curiosity with the ability to think 'outside the box.
  • Coachable, works well in a team environment
  • You can understand and explain technical and financial concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • A goal getting attitude.
  • Selfstarter with proven initiative

  • You are empathetic and know how to think like the customer; you believe that your customer's success is your success.

Nice-to-haves:

  • 2+ years of inbound or outbound sales experience, preferably selling a B2B SaaS product.
  • Understanding of financial and accounting concepts.
  • Familiarity with sales tech like HubSpot, Vimeo & Zoom
  • Proven track record of driving results.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma
