mdf commerce Inc . is an international team of approximately 650 experts who develop a broad set of SaaS solutions to optimize and accelerate commercial interactions of its B2B and B2G customers.

Working in the eprocurement sector, we are currently looking for a DevOps to join our team.

What will your main responsibilities look like?

In this role, you will be led to:

Be a key player for all aspects of cloud platforms and solutions projects, including solution creation through requirements analysis, design, implementation, and deployment.
Participate in the company's and its clients' infrastructure projects: maintain the availability, reliability, security and performance of development and production environments.
Keep abreast of the latest industry standards and emerging technologies.
Develop and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
Research new DevOps tools and techniques as appropriate, staying current with industry best practices.
Use DevOps principles to influence and create new architecture standards and best practices that improve the way our customers/partners create and manage solutions on our platform.
Build and manage tools for developer support, and automated software delivery and testing.
Build and maintain internal documentation on properly deploying our platform, and building/managing solutions on our platform.
Engage with members of the Product, Services, and Cloud Ops teams to understand our key needs around development efficiency and automation, as well as platform deployment and management.
Work with business teams to establish required service levels and the business criteria required to meet them.
If required:
Provide level 3 support services for the entire AWS Cloud ecosystem.
Be available for technical support (24/7).

What elements of your professional background will be necessary and useful in this role?

You will need to:

Hold a university degree in computer science or equivalent.
Have at least five (5) years of IT experience in cloud solution development.
Have at least three (3) years experience or more of the following:
Experience with EC2, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform technology.
Production experience with Serverless Environment (e.g., Paas, Kubernetes).
Experience building and maintaining Continuous Integration systems.
Experience in using PostgreSQL or SQL databases.
Be familiar with latest DevOps methodologies and best practices.
Possess a strong knowledge of Linux and AWS platforms, and related development environments.
Have an experience in Linux systems administration.
Have an experience in Shell, Bash, and/or Python scripting.
Have excellent English and French language skills, both oral and written, due to frequent interactions with English and French speaking internal and external colleagues and partners across Canada.
Be selfmotivated, energetic, a team player with a resultsoriented approach.
Be able to work in a collaborative and matrix environment.
Possess a strong understanding of networking principles.
Be motivated by continuous learning and ability to learn quickly on new technologies.
Be abreast of multiple and diverse technologies and processing environments.
