Description
an undergraduate degree in computer science and 2 years of practical work experience;
- a college program diploma in Information technology/computer systems technology and 2 years of practical work experience; or
- equivalent practical work experience.


Mandatory skills include:

  • Supporting Windows 10 & Microsoft 365 installations;
  • Ability to troubleshoot workstation hardware/software;
  • Ability to provide basic to intermediate system administration to support Windows Server 2016 or higher;
  • An understanding of relational databases (MS-SQL Server);
  • Familiarization with T-SQL queries;
  • An understanding of computer internetworking and IP architectures;

Skill assets would include:

  • Having an advanced knowledge of MS Excel and data manipulation;
  • Comfort building intermediate to advanced T-SQL queries;
  • Knowledge of virtual computing and services technologies;
  • Experience with MS Azure and Amazon AWS services;
  • Working knowledge of basic Linux system administration;
  • Experience with VPN and firewall technologies;
  • Experience using Desktop GIS (MapInfo) software

Job Types:

Salary:
$50,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
