City of Lethbridge, Public Operations Department, Parks/Cemeteries Section, is accepting applications for non-permanent seasonal-term Labourers for the 2024 summer season.
WAGE: $20.50 per hour
TERM: Starting beginning of May (for approximately 4 - 5 months)
As a valued part of our amazing labour team you will get to be involved in a variety of duties.Under the direction of our foreman or coordinator, your duties will include (but not limited to): litter collection, weed whipping, mowing, raking, sweeping, shoveling, pressure washing, spring cleanup, general cleanup and any other related Parks maintenance functions. With such a variety of tasks you definitely won't get be bored

·You can carry out duties based on written or oral instruction
· **Bonus Points ** – You have prior related experience in a Parks or Cemetery environment or outside labourer setting
To be considered you MUST:
·Have a high school diploma or equivalent
·Be able to work shifts and weekends as assigned
·Have a valid, unrestricted Class 5 Operator's license with no more than 5 demerit points (GDL Licenses will not be considered)
·You must submit a 5-year commercial driver's abstract (no older than 30 days) with your application to be considered for this opportunity. If you do not submit an abstract, you will not be considered .
