Purpose:

Contributes to the overall success of the Global Business Payments/Money Transfer Operations department ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are exeEnsures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures

What you'll do:

Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, system's and knowledge.
Work closely with our technology partners in ensuring excellent solutions are in place for the settlement of all clients' wires/deposits and settlement related activities
Support Global Wholesale Operations and Bank partners with regards to ensuring all Standard Settlement Instructions are adhered to and communicated accord initiatives.
Support the Money Transfer Operations team with daytoday operational efficiencies to maximize resources and ensure initiatives and process improvements
Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in daytoday activities and decisions.
Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Champions a highperformance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.

What you'll bring:

Excellent Interpersonal communication, emotional intelligence, and negotiation skills
Familiarity with a broad range of financial products/services
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to effectively communicate with Senior management
Written and Verbal
Technical abilities programming and coding skills
Understanding of straightthru processing rules / preferred correspondent banking rules
Understanding of standard settlement arrangements in ISO/MT formats
