Liberté Cafe and Restaurant is currently seeking a highly responsible and experienced cook to become an integral part of our team Must BE WEEKEND available.

We specialize in fusion breakfast and offer a vibrant cafe and restaurant experience.

We are looking for a cook with a minimum of 2 years of kitchen experience who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.

hourly wage ranging from $18 to $20 per hour plus tips. In addition, our dedicated manager will provide comprehensive training to ensure your success in our establishment.


Conveniently located within walking distance to the Joyce Skytrain station, our cafe offers a great commuting option for our employees.

We also offer flexible working hours to accommodate various schedules.


responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes following our menu specifications and recipes.
  • Ensuring food quality and presentation are consistently maintained at a high standard.
  • Adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines to guarantee a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborating with the kitchen team to coordinate and expedite orders efficiently during busy periods.
  • Assisting in the inventory management of ingredients and supplies, notifying the manager of any shortages or discrepancies.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workstation, including proper storage and labeling of food items.
  • Following established procedures for portion control, cooking techniques, and plating presentations.
  • Cooperating with other team members to maintain a positive and efficient work environment.

Requirements:


  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a line cook or in a similar culinary role.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • A passion for cooking and a desire to continuously learn and improve culinary skills.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 20-25 per week


Salary:
$18.00-$20.00 per hour
